Woodford Park

We recently paid a visit to Notcutts Woodford Park, and had a chat with Charlotte, the new Food Hall Manager, and Carol, Food Hall assistant.

Williams: How long have you worked here?
Charlotte: 2 days!
Carol: 10 years

What's your favourite part of the job?
Charlotte: I'm really excited for the new challenge and learning new skills. Previously I was a chef, so I'm enjoying being more customer focussed.
Carol: I really enjoy chatting to and helping our customers, but I also love receiving new stock and putting it out on our shelves, making it all look lovely!

What's your favourite food you stock (other than Williams!)?
Charlotte: My husband's a chef, so we're always trying different things from the shop, especially new lines!
Carol: The Cook frozen meals we stock are absolutely delicious. Great when you don't have time to cook yourself!

How long has the business been running?
Carol: It's been here for 30 years. Originally it was owned by Barton Grange, and then more recently it was taken over by Notcutts.

Any future plans?
Charlotte: We're actually just recently extended, so we're in the process of expanding the food hall and looking for more local producers as that's what our customers love!
