I am Isabelle, currently completing a placement at Williams Handbaked. I am in my second year of university studying for a Marketing and Advertising degree at Edgehill University. I’m enjoying working within the Williams team as I strive in busy environments where I can use my initiative to produce creative ideas whilst adding my own touch to further the business.
Within my time here so far, I have discussed different ideas for the new Mother’s Day campaign putting what I have learnt into practice. I've conducted research to know what is currently working for other brands and created Pinterest moodboards for what we aspire our campaign to look like, and I've shopped for props which we felt would fit within the theme of our campaign. Finally, we shot the campaign where I absorbed the behind-the-scenes of a shoot, including styling, product placement and lighting, as well as how to edit a campaign. Adding to this I have gained knowledge in e-commerce through the process of placing an order to the production and shipping of the order.
So far, I have really enjoyed putting what I have learnt into practice with Williams, seeing the results of the work whilst simultaneously learning the practical aspect of a business of what the process entails to create a successful campaign from the very beginning to the final product. I’m looking forward to starting the next campaign and seeing its final product published.
